Christian missionary invasion in Maldives?

Has President Yameen failed to stop the Christian missionary invasion in Maldives?

With the election vote a few days away, this is a question a 100% Muslim country population will definitely think about?

It is necessary to look back into our recent history to see how Christian missionary agents have infiltrated our country.

Some might remember during President Maumoon era about 20 Maldivians were successfully converted to Christianity by 19 missionary agents from Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW).

Below is the link for Christian Solidarity Worldwide website.

They claim to be working for religious freedom through advocacy and human rights, in the pursuit of justice. Literary means trying to bring religious freedom in the name of democracy.

A search result for Maldives lists the following articles;
1. Maldives: Free at last (Dated 23rd Nov 1998)
2. Trouble in paradise (Dated 1st Nov 1998)
3. Coup d39etat in Maldives (Dated 20th Feb 2012)
4. All bliss in Maldives? Not quite

Christian Solidarity search result for “Maldives”

The first article link is https://www.csw.org.uk/1998/11/23/press/123/article.htm

“Maldives: Free at Last” - the aritcle give an indepth detail about the activities of CSW in Maldives. According to CSW missionaries one of the Maldivian’s said “they can keep me in prison for 10 years, but I will never turn back to Islam”. The article also reveals that they have “watchers” or missionary agents embedded in Maldivian society. CSW is also concerned that these Maldivians have to pray five times a day and read the Quran. The articl ends with their promise to maintian “discreet” pressure on Maldives.

“Trouble in paradise” – the article is not about problems in Maldives but on the contratry problems faced by CSW in spreading the Gospel in Maldives. CSW is worried that all their missionary agents have been forcefully deported from Maldives. This was the reason David Hardigham was deported from Maldives.

Another channel used by CSW is Feba radio broadcasted in Dhivehi from Seychelles. They broadcasted bible in Dhivehi and other missionary programs in Dhivehi to convert Maldivians into Christianity.

When the Christian missionary ring got busted and deported, CSW faced a major blow in their operations. Undercover missionary agents were funded to keep their work alive but no major breakthrough was possible with President Maumoon in power. The next attack from CSW came in the form of “democracy”.

The East Asia Team Leader for CSW Benedict Rogers takes matters into his own hands. Ben specializes in Burma, Indonesia, North Korea and Maldives. Ben regularly briefs senior Government ministers and officials, UK Members of Parliament, the European Union, United Nations officials, US Congressional offices and the State Department on human rights and freedom of religion or belief in Asia, and has testified in hearings at the European Parliament, the House of Commons and the US Congress.

He is a regular contributor to international media, including The Wall Street Journal, The International Herald Tribune and The Huffington Post, and has appeared on BBC, CNN, Sky and al-Jazeera. He is also a co-founder and Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission.

Using his position in the UK Conservative Party Ben visits Maldives on a fact finding mission to pressure Maumoon to bring democracy to Maldives.

After meeting with the opposition, Ben releases a report on his visit.

Below is a link to the full report published by Ben on behalf of UK Conservative party.

The recommendations published by Ben are as follows;

A photo of Ben during his visit.

Posing for a photo with Ms. Jennifer Latheef charged with terrorism but under CSW ideology a human rights defender. Ben report called to release her without any conditions.

Most of Ben efforts were spent on negotiating the unconditional release of Mr. Mohamed Nasheed, MDP Chairperson. This was also one of the main conditions set for the government of Maldives by Ben

As expected due to foreign pressure Nasheed was released and the rest is history. In 2008 Nasheed won the election. Even though Maumoon claimed the election was rigged by opposition, he gave way to the new young leader.

With the changes in government the deported Christian missionary David Hardingham got VIP excess to Maldives.

While deported David Hardingham was closely involved with the movement for political reform in Maldives. He was the founder of the human rights activist organisation Friends of Maldives (FOM), the co-founder of the clandestine opposition radio station Minivan Radio and trustee of the UK registered charity Maldives Aid.

David Hardingham close friendship with President Nasheed had developed during their time spent studying together in Dauntsey’s School in England. Both of them had studied in this Christian religious school.

During Nasheed’s presidency David Hardingham was appointed the Honorary Consul for the Maldives in Salisbury (UK) on 2 July 2009.

David Hardingham was UK crossing coordinator and liaison during Guin Batten’s successful rowing crossing of the Zero Degree Channel on 30 March 2010 (between Huvadhoo Atoll and Foammulah Island), a distance of approximately 60 km.

During Maumoon’s presidency it was rumored that it was David Hardingham, who developed the tourism boycotting campaigns executed by Nasheed. Close associates of David Hardingham claim that he boasts that guest house tourism was master minded by him, as a backdoor to halt in legalizing alchohol in inhabited islands.

David Hardingham and Ben met regularly to discuss progress with the UK Conservative Party Human Rights Commission and engaged their help to closely monitor the political and human rights situation in the Maldives.

David Hardingham also boasts that guesthouse tourism is an idea given by him to Nasheed. Opposition claim that this was done to create a more receptive environment to legalize alcohol in inhabited islands after their initial failure to do so.

Hardingham resigned from his post as Honorary Consul to the Maldives after the 7th February 2012 resignation by President Nasheed.

The next two articles from CSW are written by Benedict Rogers after the 7 February resignation for Nasheed, as dictates the events as perceived by him.

The link of the article is https://www.csw.org.uk/2012/02/20/news/1140/article.htm

Third article that came up in the search results is “Coup d'etat in the Maldives” dated 20th Feb 2012.

In the article CSW called for its church members to pray to restore back the presidency to Nasheed. According to CSW this was a win for Islamist and an opportunity for Islamic radicalization. A decline in the progress made to achieve democratization and full human rights achievement. The wordings and language used by CSW, in an uncanny fashion echoed the same rhetoric used by MDP.

The last article in the search result about Maldives is called “All bliss in the Maldives? Not quite” (Dated 1 May 2012)

Again, CSW ask it church members to pray for Nasheed and restoration of full democracy in Maldives. It further runs the tourism boycott campaigns executed by Nasheed in its site.
The resignation of Nasheed seems to have given CSW a huge blow, because of the efforts by Ben in social media platforms like twitter and articles written for press all reflect on the frustrations of losing Nasheed’s presidency.

Ben was also a very close friend of Nasheed’s wife, Madam Laila (in the middle with Ben).

The big question is that Mr. Ibu Solih is married to Nasheed’s Kerefa Family and is not only a childhood friend but his most trusted companion, so are we to believe that he was not at the least bit aware of President Nasheed’s missionary activities.

This is something we as a nation should be deeply concerned. Nasheed is not only a missionary agent but someone who sold the Palestine vote in UNESCO to Zionist forces. A well-funded puppet of the West.

Even now David Hardingham is actively seen campaigning for Jazeera Rajje.

Will any Maldivian of the Muslim faith want our country to slide into the hand of Christian missionaries? Do we want to be a puppet of the West? The answer will be decided on the 23rd September 2018 vote.

It is not only the responsibility of President Yameen to stop the Christian missionaries but we as Muslims has our part to play.

Even though family and friends and very good Muslims are following Ibu blindly, nearly all the anti-Muslim people are Ibu’s side. Which side will you chose?

Vote for 1 Religion, 1 country, 1 language & 1 culture.
